Farmland Preservation Program

Almost one thousand acres of farmland across Ohio will remain farmland according to the ODA. Eight new farms have recently been added to the Farmland Preservation Program. In 2023 29 farms became part of the program which is an agricultural easement and a voluntary agreement between the landowner and the ODA to ensure the land remains predominately used for agriculture. For more details log on to Welcome to the Farmland Preservation Office | Ohio Department of Agriculture
