Year-round nutritious high-quality products


Scientists are working with one of the main crops grown in the US to provide year-round nutritious high-quality products. By using genetics and breeding of potato varieties scientists with the USDA’s Agriculture Research Service are trying to improve disease resistance, climate resiliency, and other overall quality traits. About 22.5 million tons of potatoes are produced in the US every year.  For more information log on to
