Columbus fairground groundbreaking ceremony

Governor Mike DeWine along with the Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds Team recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for two buildings at the Columbus fairground. The Ohio Showcase Building and the new agriculture building are part of the long term master plan recommended by the 2050 Expo Task Force.

The Showcase Building will house a food hall and exhibit space along with six restaurants and vendors with indoor and outdoor dining space. This building is set to be completed  in 2026.

The new agriculture building will house the Taste of Ohio Café along with the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation’s Land & Living Exhibit and other agricultural exhibits. The exhibit hall will also feature more than 100,000 square feet of space for a variety of events.
